About us
A solar technology company in Pretoria: reliable, efficient, clean energy for homes, businesses and developments.
Spinnacle Power was started in July 2015 by Albert van der Westhuizen, a mechanical engineer and AEE Certified Renewable Energy Professional who spent many years in corporate before striking out on his own. A green heart and an intense interest in technology made renewable energy the obvious choice.
Linda joined him in 2019 to run the business, and is most probably the first person you'll speak to. Our installation team has been with us for years, and they've done the product training for the brands we fit, from Victron and Fronius to solar water and heat pumps.
We supply, install and maintain. When the work is done we walk you through your new system, hand over the drawings and warranties, and we're on call for as long as it runs.
Never compromise on quality
Price matters, but solar is a long-term investment. We only use Tier 1 suppliers.
No surprises
You know at every stage what you need to pay, and when, from an agreed schedule.
Here after the install
Our service department is on call to keep your system running at its best.
